Wonder Woman

Wish that it was so easy.
A mighty warrior demi-god, Amazon princess
arrives from a mystical island
to fight evil with her overwhelming
and magical powers.
A male fantasy of beauty
here to protect humanity from itself.

But it is not that easy.
None of it.
Ponder Mother Teresa,
certainly not comic book perfect,
maybe even fatally flawed,
but perhaps as close to
a Wonder Woman
as this generation will ever see.
