Do you know who I am?

I am not sure.
Not sure I ever knew.
Can such things be known?
Or is it a question
without an answer
or which answer can only be
one with an expiration date
by the time
the answer is given?

Those who claim to know
such things
Don't.
Do they?

So how in the world
can anyone claim to know
who God is
(or who Martin Luther King,
Mother Teresa, Gandhi,
or for that matter, Jesus, Buddha,
or Confucius were.)

Do you think you know?

I don't.
