Life and truth are manifold.
Yet, the religious
seek to exempt themselves
from this reality
wanting to simplify
and breakdown truth
into pithy aphorisms which sound good to some
but are anything but universal.
For wisdom is not black and white
but a continuum of shades
and multiplicity of colors.
Reality is confusing
there is nothing Confucian about that.
