Sugar Maple

Not sure if you would call
the color of the leaves
in my neighbor's yard
amber? goldenrod? saffron?
Some variation of all the above?
Don't really matter.
A guy might say
they are this yellowish, orange hue;
a glorious fall luminescence
shouting
"Look at me!  Look at me!
I'm damn pretty to see."
Sugar maple tree soon to drop its leaves
and all I can think is:
Fall,
what a striptease.
