Evolution

At what point
along the evolutionary process
did God impart
a soul into man?
Or did it grow
of its own accord?
Evolving somewhere between single cell amoebas
and we complex vertebrate mammals,
homo sapiens.
Or not.

That was Darwin's struggle.


As life evolved
within the universe
were energy and mass conserved
as the principles of physics tells us?
If yes, the soul does not exist,
not in this universe.
If not, two fundamental laws
of physics are wrong.
