Tribes

It is clear to me

that we have evolved

from other species

for we still act like

our tribe, our troop

is the right one,

the chosen one.

God's tribe,

God's troop.

But are we?

Are we indeed?

In fact,

does God

(if God exists)

even choose

such things?

The chosen ones,

I mean.

Or are we just

members of one

of many tribes or

troops evolving still?

Does our belief in

our own tribal superiority

somehow aide

natural selection?

I sure as hell

can't believe it

aides God.
