A crescent moon
accompanied by a planet
south by southwest
and a sky full of stars
on a crisp, pre-dawn morn.
The moon it dominates
and outshines the others.
Deceiving once again.

The planet a relative next door neighbor

how very far?
My mind cannot comprehend.
